Our Story
Our story began in 2016, when we participated in Summer Work & Travel programs in 2016 and 2017 in a row. we’ve experienced how cultural exchange was the key for personal and professional growth; not only for us but also for our hosts and colleagues.
We know that the cross-cultural skills, lasting friendships, and professional collaborations that develop through cultural exchange empower us as individuals and build the base for a Global long-lasting peace.
Consequently, we decided to establish a Facebook Group specialized in Cultural Exchange programs to promote our support of cultural exchange and encourage people and broaden their knowledge on the available opportunities to participate in cultural exchange programs and events.
Sparing no effort in the process; We became a trust-worthy reference for the students. We have also been able to to gain the youth’s trust by removing the barriers that generates from generations gap since we are young adults ourselves. This in turn has enabled us to make friends with many students and the youth who are interested in cultural exchange.
After we had dug deep into this industry, we noticed a huge increase in the demand for exchange programs, let alone studying abroad aspirants. So, we decided to establish our company.
Meet The Founders
Ahamd Al-Mashaikh
Co-Founder & Program’s Director of Travel Gates, he is a certified educational consultant by ICEF and visa advisor, Ahmad believes that walking the extra mile is not a luxury, but rather a must, because it opens new domains for him. Ahmad believes in exploring passions to reinforce other strengths and eliminate their weaknesses.
Ahmad’s participation in Summer work & Travel program during his engineering school enabled him to touch the basis. Therefore, He believes traveling during the university period is an invaluable experience for every student and crucial in refining his personality and skills. This motivated him to establish Travel Gates.
